Every year, your Orange County dentist, Shoreline Dental Studio, offers a free day of dental care to veterans in partnership with Smiles for FREEdom. Taking place annually on or around Veterans’ Day, 2023 marks the sixth year your San Clemente and Mission Viejo dentist is participating. This year’s event happens on November 10th, 2023.
In past years, veterans from San Diego to San Pedro have visited Shoreline Dental Studio on Smiles for FREEdom day. Participants receive access to top-quality dental care and Shoreline Dental Studio’s comprehensive services, from cleanings to restorative treatments. Dr. Kristen Ritzau, along with Dr. Colby Livingston, Dr. Shahira Saad, Dr. Danielle Winters, and the Shoreline Dental Studio team also coordinate with other local dental care specialists, for needs such as endodontic work or oral surgery.
Serving Through Smiles for FREEdom In Honor of Family
Shoreline Dental Studio’s founding dentist, Dr. Ritzau, has a personal impetus for participating in this program. Her late great-grandfather, Eugene Fournier, USMC Master Sergeant, was stationed in Orange County in the 1950s and four generations later, his descendants still have roots firmly planted there, including Dr. Ritzau and her family.
For the past five years, Shoreline Dental Studio has provided over $150,000 of dental care services through Smiles for FREEdom. Veterans interested in the program are asked to contact Shoreline Dental Studio’s San Clemente or Mission Viejo dental offices. Dental care needs are typically assessed during October to prepare for treatments on Smiles for FREEdom day in November.
